Jenny Thomas, a surgical nurse with big dreams and a tender heart, who moves to Washington, D.C. to begin a new chapter in her life. When an act of kindness and a lovely portrait sweep Jenny into the midst of a terrorist plot, her courage, determination and faith in God are put to the ultimate test. The possibility of a romance with an FBI agent is hinted at in the first chapter and fully developed as the terrorist threats begin to take shape and Jenny is kidnapped for what is in the back of her portrait.
