Book: A Season to Dance

A Season to DanceA Season to Dance

By Patricia Beal

A Season to Dance, a contemporary romance novel with more twists and turns than the usual romance, was written by Patricia Beal, a ballet dancer for 35 years. It introduces women readers to the seemingly magical world of ballet while spinning a tale of love lost and found again. The romantic triangle finds the heroine, Ana Brassfield, moving back and forth between the USA and Germany in search of love’s fulfillment—and dancing success. When Ana’s husband dies of Huntington’s Disease, a friend not only comforts her but also shares God’s love with her, which Ana accepts. There’s a rebirth of a former love and a satisfying ending.

Patricia Beal came to faith in Christ as an adult and this novel’s sub-theme is how God is always there, even for a person nursing growing anger at God. His love can break through even after a tragedy, usually facilitated through the faithful witness of a Christian alert to opportunities.
